Brad Beattie, Strategic Consultant, OneAbility Games

BRAD BEATTIE (he/him)

Strategic Consultant

Brad specializes in collaborative solutions that drive social impact, bringing over 25 years of experience in uniting people, ideas, and systems to create meaningful change. As Strategic Consultant for the OneAbility Games, Brad applies his expertise to help build a multi-sport, multi-disability platform that not only celebrates inclusive athleticism but also transforms how schools, communities, and organizations approach accessibility and inclusion.

His work has consistently centered on amplifying grassroots voices and designing partnerships that unlock systemic potential. Most notably, Brad played a pivotal role in the creation of SOGI 1 2 3, an education initiative that rapidly scaled from a small pilot to being adopted by all 60 B.C. school districts, First Nations schools, and independent schools—laying the foundation for a national movement. The success of SOGI 1 2 3 mirrors the collaborative model guiding the OneAbility Games, rooted in alignment across provincial, district, and community stakeholders.

Prior to that, Brad contributed to Reconciliation Canada’s leadership team organizing a historic Truth and Reconciliation Walk with over 70,000 participants and 1,000 volunteers, and helped reimagine collaboration models within the Canadian Olympic Committee and Canadian Freestyle Ski Association.

Brad believes the untapped power of people lies in breaking down silos and rethinking traditional structures. His work with the OneAbility Games continues this mission—activating leadership across education, sport, and community to co-create an inclusive, accessible future for all participants.
