Charlene Smith is a strategic fundraiser and social impact consultant who brings over a decade of experience leading high-impact initiatives across nonprofit, public, and corporate sectors. As Principal Consultant at Triple Peak Consulting, Charlene supports purpose-driven organizations through growth, change, and new opportunities—specializing in aligning strategy with values and unlocking the power of philanthropy, partnerships, and systems design. She’s known for translating complexity into action, building genuine trust-based partnerships, and supporting teams through growth and change with a grounded, relationship-centered approach.

Charlene has helped secure over $25 million through campaigns, grants, major gifts, annual giving, and cross-sector partnerships. She has a track record of building fundraising infrastructure from the ground up, leading multi-stakeholder initiatives, and embedding social purpose into organizational strategy and culture. Her work spans stakeholder engagement, fundraising, impact measurement, ESG strategy, systems design, and community investment, with a focus on helping organizations grow their revenue and results in ways that are values-driven and community-informed.

Charlene is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Sustainability with a Minor in Social Justice from the University of Victoria. She is also Dare to Lead Trained and has additional certifications in UN SDG Impact Measurement & Management and Social Return on Investment (SROI). She has held senior leadership roles with organizations including Take a Hike Foundation, First West Credit Union, and 4VI Group, and regularly contributes her expertise to boards, granting committees, and community advisory networks.

Based in Qualicum Beach, Charlene brings a deep love of place, a collaborative spirit, and a grounded, practical approach to changemaking for lasting impact. She believes that our trails—in work and in life—are better travelled together.
