Educator Lead

Jina Taylor is the Physical Literacy Lead Teacher for School District 71, where she collaborates with teachers and students to share knowledge, build confidence, and foster competence in physical literacy through engaging resources and meaningful learning experiences. With over 25 years of experience teaching Physical and Health Education, Jina brings a wealth of expertise, energy, and passion to every program she leads.

She holds a Bachelor of Education degree specializing in Physical and Health Education from the University of Victoria. Jina works closely with organizations such as Sport for Life and the Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council (ISPARC), and she has recently joined OneAbility Games as the Educational Lead. In her role with the OneAbility Games, Jina helps build educational resources, co-presents and delivers sessions, and serves as an Educator Mentor to support the implementation of inclusive sport opportunities within schools.

Jina is deeply committed to creating equitable, inclusive opportunities in sport and physical activity — ensuring that all students, regardless of ability, have the chance to learn, grow, and experience the joy of movement. Through her work, she continues to expand programs and initiatives that promote accessibility, community connection, and lifelong participation in physical activity.
