PLAY Stream

The PLAY stream is focused on school-age participants (grades K-12), with supportive programming being offered in schools and communities to develop the skills and confidence to play at the OneAbility Games. Registration is FREE!

ACHIEVE Stream

The ACHIEVE stream features elite-level competitive sport events, highlighting regional, provincial, and national adapted sport competitions. These high-performance events are being held in collaboration with provincial and national sport organizations, offering athletes the chance to compete.

Richmond Olympic Oval: Venue for OneAbility Games

Richmond Olympic Oval

The primary training ground for provincial adapted sport athletes—from grassroots to Paralympians.

The Richmond Olympic Oval is a world-class indoor multi-sport and fitness facility equipped with outstanding accessibility features, including fully accessible washrooms, multiple elevators, and ample wheelchair-designated parking—ensuring everyone has the opportunity to play, train, compete, and thrive.

Originally built to host long track speed skating during the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games, the Oval has since transformed into a cornerstone of Richmond’s athletic community, welcoming a wide range of adapted sport events—from the International Canada Cup in Wheelchair Rugby to Wheelchair Basketball Canada’s National Championships.
