About the PLAY Stream
The PLAY Stream of the OneAbility Games is designed for school-age participants (grades K–12), creating opportunities for students with disabilities to discover sport in a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment.
In the months leading up to the Games, programming in schools and communities helps participants build the skills and confidence to take part in the event. Best of all, registration is completely free, ensuring as many young people as possible can experience the joy of sport and physical activity.

How to Register
STEP 1
Confirm eligibility.
PLAY Stream participants must be K-12 students with a disability: physical, intellectual, neurodivergent, learning, etc. This includes students in public, independent, alternative, or home-school settings. Students without a disability can inquire about student leadership roles to support participant training and are encouraged to attend the games as fans or by signing up to be a volunteer.
STEP 2
Register your intent to participate.
Registration is free!
Eligible students register through their schools, or register individually if the student is homeschooled or their school is not attending. The button below leads to a registration form which is an “intent to participate”. This provides us with the information needed to prepare for the Games. Please complete this form no later than February 12, 2026. Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached.
STEP 2
Attend a “Try-a-Sport” day.
All schools and individual registrants who have expressed their intent to participate will be invited to bring students for a full day of station-based activities, rotating through sports such as lacrosse, basketball (wheelchair & standing), soccer, floorball, and track & field events. Each station is designed to encourage participation, cooperation, and fun for all students. Please note that, depending on your school grade configuration, there is flexibility around which day your school participates:
Wednesday, May 13: Kindergarten–Grade 5
Thursday, May 14: Grades 6–8
Friday, May 15: Grades 9–12
STEP 3
Receive your information package.
In the middle of February, we will provide you with an information package that will include information for families, including individual permission forms, to ensure we plan for a supportive experience of each participant.
