Event Coordinator

Jennifer Hobson has over 35 years of administrative experience working in events, accreditation, campaigns, development, marketing, registration, finance, and volunteer management.

Working almost exclusively in the non-profit sector in the Greater Victoria area, Jenn got her start with the YM-YWCA of Greater Victoria, handling administration for the Annual Women of Distinction Awards and supporting the Outreach Services Department in achieving accreditation status. It was there that her knowledge of sport and physical fitness expanded and her interest in the growing field of inclusion began to take hold.

Jenn's most recent position with the Events Management Office for Doctors of BC brought her full circle back into the event world and introduced her to working with inclusive-led events, something she is very passionate about. Now, in her role with OneAbility Games as Event Coordinator, Jenn is excited to bring her decades of experience together with her commitment to accessibility and inclusion, utilizing her recent training to help advance inclusive events into the mainstream
